Lately I've been wondering "How can I play emulators on the DS?" I wanted to play SNES and NES games. I have the roms and emulators for the computer but I don't have the DS version. So I went searchin' and have finally found a place thanks to this guy.
Another Tech Blog - How to snes and nes nintendo ds
This guy is super helpful in my search and I decided that you guys (even though there are none) will want it. And I thought i should do one for noobs and people who know nothing.
To do this you will need a DS card. You can use M3 or R4 anything that suits.
Next plug your micro sd card into your computer and start the download, download link will be at the bottom of the post.
Use winrar or 7zip to access the download.
Once you have opened the file move everything in that folder to the micro sd card.
It should look like this:
Click on image to view larger version. |
As you can see everything was moved into the root of the card. The root is the first part of the disk. For example, when you buy a new USB and use it, it will be empty. So there's nothing there. It's called the root.
Then you safely remove your micro sd card and put it back in the DS cartridge and put it into the DS console. Turn it on and WALLAH! You just click the emulator and the game DONE.
